Small Bowl

My little bowl has turned out to be quite versatile! I have used it for indoor plants (the Jade plant loves it as you can see in the picture), small outdoor plants, and herbs. I also discovered this past Christmas that it makes a great container for a small Christmas tree covered with imitation snow and craft birds. You can also cut small pine leaves and holly berry leaves from your outdoor shrubs and fill it for a great table setting. I filled several containers and placed them down the middle of the table and instantly I had a table setting good enough to please Martha Stewart!

Big Girl

I have several big girl hypertufas sitting on my patio, this is my favorite of the containers. The 'Big Girl' is the deepest container and because of its depth the plants have more room for their root system. I use this planter to make a statement; I fill mine with Geraniums, Sweet Alyssum, Petunias and Marigolds. Place a 'Big Girl' along side a 'Stubby' and you have an instant 'English Garden Setting.' Last summer I made a wonderful discovery, the slugs dislike climbing up the rough sides. In the past I was having so much trouble with slugs climbing into my plastic containers and devouring my plants, not anymore, no more plastic for me! This container also can be used as a cooler, YES A COOLER! Fill it with ice, your favorite bottle of wine or canned drinks and you have a unique way of chilling your drinks and impressing your friends. Use outdoors since it does have a ready made drain.

Long Planter

This size container came about because of the many requests for a planter to place on a window sill or a porch step. I also found that the long planter looks really great sitting on a coffee table filled with Spanish moss, decorative wicker balls and green wicker pears (shown in the picture). I purchased these items at an import store which is a great place to find unusual items to put in your “tufas.” Don’t forget in the spring you can fill it with flowers and place it on a window sill or step.

Small Rectangle

This little guy is perfect for your coffee or dinning room table. Fill it with silk flowers and you have a natural yet elegant table decoration. I have also filled this small container with fresh cut greenery, holly twigs from my outdoor shrubs and beautiful bright red cardinal craft birds. This made such a gorgeous table setting I was able to please my own mother and aunts during a morning brunch.

Round Planter

The Round Planter is best for indoor plants, succulents or possibly a bonsai tree. I also use this size to hold decorative items such as pinecones, fruit, or candles. My favorite use is to set a two foot Christmas tree decorated with natural items such as pinecones, grapevine and decorative craft birds. Fill in the bottom with moss and you have a beautiful decoration to set on a table.
